Papalala Za Ongwala (the wings of the Eagle)

All of the proceeds from the sale of Shirley's paintings go to the Eagle Wings Christian Family. Eagle Wings is Chiomba Nkhanga  in Chchewa.  Eagle Wings is made up of a very small group of Christians, who support five local Malawian missionaries and their families in their work. Eagle Wings is not a charity organisation, instead it aims to help Malawians to become self sufficient. https://www.facebook.com/wingsofmalawi/

Isaiah 40:31 “but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles they will run and not grow weary they will walk and not be faint.”

Updates from 5 pastors. 27th February 2021

The schools are open after 5 week shutdown, but unfortunitly teachers are on strike demanding risk money.

Eagle Wings is supporting 5 pastors and thier families together with 7 orphans. Three Orphans in Lilongwe one with Pastor Charles in Blantyre. Three orphans supported by Pastor Julius.

Pastor Steven and his son Pastor Rooservelt are doing incredible  work in Chipita the tip of Malawi in the north. Pastor steven has also planted Churches in the countries of Zambia and Tanzania.

Pastor Kenndy near the Zambia border has been without a phone. We suspect the phone he was sold was faulty. However thanks to Veronica our Reprecentitive for Eagle Wings, she says he is fine as she managed to contact him vir another friends phone.

We are blessed that the Pastors and thier families have avoided Coronivirus and the Lord has protected them together with the Orphans.

[[ Pastor Hassan whom has passed away]  Leaving behind 3 kids- Hassan Junior has passed his exam into the next class. His sisters Trinity and Hannah are in grade 8.

In spite of the coronivirus we thank our supporters whom have continued to give and so we feel blessed that Eagle Wings work not only is continued but expanding. Praise the Lord.

Also congratulations to Veronica on her Birthday 26th of Febuary 2021 we are so blessed to have you on Eagle Wings team.

2021 Malawian Way of Life.

Images by Pastor Roservelt. Pastor Roservelt loves Kids and was teaching Sunday School. He sent me images of everyday life in the North of Malawi. Kids were collecting grass to sale during the lockdown. They were milking cows and selling in the markets, anything to help thier familes. Thank you Pastor Roservelt for some great photos. Which you can view on my Blog @wingsofmalawi  God Bless you .

Because the photo's now come through whatsapp it's difficult to post them all here on my web site. This site www.shirleycharlton.com Eagle Wings is now 29 pages. Please look back at how this ministry first started page one.

Where as @wingsofmalawi was posted later and has different information. Here is a Cheerful image as we are reminded we have plenty to be thankful for.
