Papalala Za Ongwala (the wings of the Eagle)

All of the proceeds from the sale of Shirley's paintings go to the Eagle Wings Christian Family. Eagle Wings is Chiomba Nkhanga  in Chchewa.  Eagle Wings is made up of a very small group of Christians, who support five local Malawian missionaries and their families in their work. Eagle Wings is not a charity organisation, instead it aims to help Malawians to become self sufficient. https://www.facebook.com/wingsofmalawi/

Isaiah 40:31 “but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles they will run and not grow weary they will walk and not be faint.”

We are gratefull for Judy a loving GREAT grandmother. A busy 70 plus year old whom runs the coffee shop at her Church three days a week. She takes care of the elderly in her Church and runs around after everyone. Nothing is too much trouble for her. She is such a blessing to Eagle wings Malawi. Judy is the treasurer and does the transfers. Judy has become an expert at working out the exchange of dollars to pounds to Malawi Kwacha. We are so incredibley grateful to have her on board. She went on mission to Malawi and meet the Pastors and orphans. She is an amazing Christian that Loves Malawi  and the people with all her heart.

Our Representative in Malawi Veronica July 2021

How Blessed we are to have this beautiful young Christian Mother and busy health care worker helping us.

We first of all pray for Veronica our feet on the ground in Malawi /she is in charge of Eagle wings there.

Her dedication and unpaid work to help us keep Eagle Wings Malawi running smoothly. Veronica has 3 young Childern aged 11 years and 9 years and 6 years. Her Husband Anderson and herself are physiotheripist. Veronica works in an aged Hospital. She has lost colleges to Covid. Recently she has lost a friend a nurse from the seventh Day adventist hospital to covid.  We thank you Lord that  Veronica being a health care worker has recieved her first jab.

We grieve with her lost friends and fellow workers. We ask that you supply Malawi with more covid vacinations as the country has run out totally. It is a very hard time with closed borders, and being a landlocked country that is exceedinly poor. Covid has brought many deaths and devastation and hunger.

Thank you Veronica for all you do in your little spare time inbetween looking after your family and work.
