Pastor Kennedy and his wife kondwani in Mizimba west. June/July 2021

Pastor kennedy and his wife Kondwani are near the Zambian border and they are in a very poor remote area. When we went to vist even though it was the dry season it wasnt possible to get to his village by car. Only a bicycle ride of over three hours.  Hmm Judy in her seventies and me in my sixties we instead managed to get Pastor Kennedy and his wife and one of their sons to meet us in Mizimba.

It is sad that Pastor Kennedy's mother has passed away after a stroke. Pastor Kennedy is always smiling and he has been leading many people to Christ including a leper. With the little he recieves from us he shares. I love his smiling face and the dedication of his work for the Lord. He started building a mud brick Church but after drying over a thousand bricks in the sun the rain came and distroyed their work. So they had to start again. They have no shops or means but rely on the land and grow crops in very bad soil. Last year many suffered from hunger with a drought.
