All of the proceeds from the sale of Shirley's paintings go to the Eagle Wings Christian Family. Eagle Wings is Chiomba Nkhanga in Chchewa. Eagle Wings is made up of a very small group of Christians, who support five local Malawian missionaries and their families in their work. Pastor Julius in Nsanje says on voice message his people are hungry they were before the pandemic,and things are very difficult because of nothing to buy. They are still meeting at Church but keeping distance rules.He apreciaites the small increase in funds that he will try and help he will do his best. he says their
are so many people already suffering from Coronavirus, and he hopes to be able to support more people in desperate need.
Malawi is still saying 70 cases and 3 deaths. But due to lack of testing we will never know the true figures. The bigger problem in the landlocked country at the moment is lack of food and hunger.
